We will show you a secure lot nearby the apartment to park your car. The cost is about 720.00 CZK (28.00 Euro) per 24 hours. Parking permits are required just about everywhere in Prague, and if you park on the street without one, your car will most surely be towed.
If you are driving into Prague and have a mobile phone, we will be happy to provide you turn by turn directions to the apartment, help you unload your bags, then accompany you in your car to the parking lot.

Is There A Personal Computer In The Apartment?
Yes, in April 2008 we installed a desktop PC with Internet connection in the 3rd bedroom/office. It is set up with a microphone and speakers so you can use Skype to make free or very inexpensive international phone calls. Microsoft Word and Excel are also installed. The computer is available for your use at no additional charge while you are guests in the apartment. WiFi is also available should you bring your laptop.
What Floor Is The Apartment On And Is There An Elevator Or Lift?
The American system has the ground floor of buildings as the first floor, most countries in Europe have the ground floor as zero and the first floor above ground level as the first floor. So, by the American system, the apartment is on the 3rd floor. By the European system, the apartment is on the second floor. And yes, there is a working elevator or lift in the building.
What If I Need To See A Doctor For Some Reason While I Am In Prague?
We have a licensed English speaking physician on call who will visit you in the apartment for a reasonable fee. He can write prescriptions or refer you to a local hospital if need be.
How Comfortable Are The Beds In The Apartment?
Most of the rental apartments here in Prague use 2 single beds pushed together to create a queen size bed with 2 single size comforters. If you are sharing a bed with your partner, this becomes very uncomfortable sometime around the middle of the night when one of you sinks into the split between the mattresses and one of the comforters has slipped off the bed.
Our beds and bedding are comparable to what you would find in a 5 star luxury hotel. The beds in both the master and second bedrooms in our apartment are both high quality designer beds with one piece American style mattresses. Both these beds have mattress pads, designer bedding, and full size comforters that generously cover the entire bed. Ultra soft, full size blankets are also in the rooms if you prefer blankets in combination with the comforters or to use alone.
The 3rd bedroom has bunk beds with very comfortable high quality mattresses and upgraded high quality slats. Both bunks have mattress pads, designer bedding and comforters that generously cover the entire bed. These bunks are super comfortable for both children and adults.
Can You Provide A GSM Mobile Phone To Use While I am Staying In The Apartment?
Yes, we have a nice Motorola Razor that you may use while you are staying in the apartment. Cost is 5.00 Euros per day, plus usage.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations more than 30 days from your check-in date are entitled to a full refund of the deposit paid, less any processing fees. Cancellations within 30 days of your check-in date are subject to full forfeiture of the deposit. Upon check in, we will expect payment for your entire stay and return your deposit, less damages, lost keys, etc, when you check out. Our bank may convert your currency to Czech Crowns at the current exchange rate.
I Have Heard That Some Taxis Can Be Unfair About Their Prices In Prague?
This depends on which taxi service you use and how you find your taxi. If you hail a cab from the street, it is very likely you will be overcharged, anywhere from a little to a lot.
We recommend that you only use AAA Taxis here in Prague. If you call them to pick you up, you will not be overcharged. If you hail an AAA Taxi from the street, you may be overcharged a little. To pay the least amount of money, just dial 14014 from your mobile phone (without country code), give them the address where you are, and they will usually pick you up in 1 to 10 minutes. This is how the locals do it.
How Do You Handle Outstanding Rental Inquiries With Overlapping Dates?
If we have sent you a reply stating that your requested dates are available, and you have not yet officially confirmed your reservation by making the Deposit Payment, and we get another inquiry which overlaps with some or all of your requested dates, these are our procedures:
1. If you are the first inquiry, we will immediately send you an email informing you that we have sent an inquiry reply to another prospective renter that has requested dates which overlap with some or all of the dates you have requested.
2. If you are the second inquiry with dates that overlap with an unconfirmed previous inquiry, we will inform you of this at the bottom of your confirmation email.
3. At this point, we will accept the reservation from the first party that officially confirms the booking by making the Deposit Payment.
What Is The Story Regarding Crime In The Czech Republic?
In the Czech Republic, violent crime is almost non-existent. Petty crime is probably higher here than in most other countries with pick pocketing being most prevalent. We recommend that you do not speak with or come in contact with people that approach you on the street or on public transportation. Do not carry mobile phones, important documents or money in your jacket or back pockets. Also, don't even think about changing money with anyone you meet on the street.
Keep these few things in mind, and you will have a wonderful time while you are out exploring this historic city!
